A little fabrication
Whenever we go to the farm in Iowa, Hagan likes to go out to Papa's shop to do a little fabrication. It just so happened that I needed a water valve shut off tool (to turn off water to the house--you know, at the valve at the curb out front of the house). We're planning to do some bathroom renovation this month (January), which will require shutting off the water when we're ready to do some plumbing. Anyway, instead of buying this tool, I figured I'd ask Hagan to make me one with scrap steel from the farm. He accepted the job, and I am convinced that the one he made is better than any that you can buy in a store!🙂
