Building a Hay Barn
Last Sunday (July 20) after church, I hopped in the car and headed north to the family farm near Bagley, IA. The reason for going was to spend three days working with my Dad and brother to build a pole barn for hay and machinery storage. The main goal while my brother and I were there was to help Dad to get the rafters and purlins put up and ready to take steel once the order came it. We accomplished our goal and hand a great time doing it! I *loved* the hard physical labor, and driving nails with the pneumatic nailers was quite fun, too! :) Here are some photos my Mom took. I tried to arrange them in order from start to finish. Enjoy!
